NDIS Exercise Physiology Funding

Access clinically-led Exercise Physiology with eligible funding support

NDIS Exercise Physiology funding may be available for eligible participants where exercise-based support is considered reasonable and necessary to improve functional capacity, independence, or daily living outcomes.

This page outlines how NDIS funding can be used to access Exercise Physiology services at Healthsmart Exercise Physiology, including eligibility considerations and referral pathways. It does not replace individual plan advice or NDIS decision-making.

How NDIS Exercise Physiology Funding Works

The NDIS is administered by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) and provides individualised funding to eligible participants based on their approved plan.

Exercise Physiology services may be funded when they align with a participant’s stated goals and are included within relevant budget categories, commonly under Capacity Building – Improved Daily Living. Supports must be considered reasonable and necessary and are subject to plan approval and available funding.
